Michael McNaught, d.d.s.
Dr. Michael McNaught grew up in Lamar, Missouri. He first attended Pittsburg State University. He joined the Missouri Army National Guard at age 19. He then graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2002 and went on to graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2007. Upon graduation from dental school, he entered active duty military service in the Army, for ten years. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in 2008.
In 2013, Dr. McNaught completed his 4-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Fort Bliss, in El Paso, TX, where he served as Chief Resident for all four years. There, he received training in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from dental extractions, dental implants, facial trauma, jaw surgery, and the treatment of oral and facial pathology.
Dr. McNaught was then stationed at Fort Campbell, KY, where he served as Chief of Oral Surgery for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and as a staff Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. He spent four years training general dentist residents in advanced oral surgery procedures. It was there that he also earned his Air Assault School badge, which involves training to rappel from helicopters and rigging helicopters to carry heavy equipment.
Dr. McNaught now has the privilege of continuing to serve our country as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves, with over 21 years of total service in the Army.
Dr. McNaught has served patients in the Springfield and surrounding areas through private practice since 2017. He resides in Nixa, Missouri, with his wife, two daughters and two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, participating in church activities, as well as archery, hunting, and many other activities that get him in the great outdoors. The most important aspects of his life are faith in God and family.
Dr. McNaught is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a current member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Missouri Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Greater Springfield Dental Society, and serves as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Tooth Truck.
JULIE BECKER, D.D.S.
Dr. Julie Becker received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and attended dental school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. She completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor Hospital in Dallas. She has been in practice for twenty-three years.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Becker is a member of many local and national professional organizations, including the Greater Springfield Dental Society, Missouri Dental Association, American Dental Association, Missouri Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Midwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Baylor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Alumni Association.
Dr. Becker is a native of Springfield and enjoys volunteering in local civic, cultural and religious organizations. She also donates her time for public school nurses and school dental screenings as well as Give Kids a Smile Day.
BRYAN DARLING, D.D.S., M.D.
Dr. Bryan Darling obtained his B.S. in biology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He earned his dental degree at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 2001. Dr. Darling completed medical school in conjunction with postgraduate training at Louisiana State.
After receiving his Doctorate in Medicine in 2004, he completed a surgical internship in general surgery at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and University Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has been in practice for thirteen years.
Dr. Darling is a member of the Greater Springfield Dental Society, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support.
